SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

(Please NOTE: RAM requirements listed are for XP. Add at least 1 GB RAM for Vista installs)

Important Note for customers upgrading from Peachtree 2004~2006 (earlier versions can no longer be automatically imported, and must first be upgraded to Release 2004 or later):

Certain features have changed or are no longer available. Peachtree Today has been removed. In Peachtree Complete Accounting or higher it has been replaced with the Business Status Center. In Peachtree Pro Accounting and higher the forms designer can no longer be used to customize payroll tax form templates. Print-N-Sign Tax Forms are not compatible with dot matrix printers. Several aspects of the system requirements have been updated. It is recommended that you carefully review the system requirements for compatibility and acceptance prior to upgrading.

Our Recommended System Configuration (Complete, Pro, Premium)

• 1.6 GHz Intel Pentium III (or equivalent) for single user and 2 GHz Intel Pentium 4 (or equivalent) for multiple concurrent users
• 2 GB of RAM for single or multiple concurrent users
• Windows 2000 SP3 or XP Pro SP2
• For Microsoft Vista SP1: 3 GB RAM

Minimum System Requirements (Complete, Pro, Premium)

• At least 1 GHz Intel Pentium III (or equivalent)
• 512MB of RAM for single user and 512 MB for multiple named users; Microsoft Vista — 512 MB RAM (single and multiple users)
• Windows 2000 SP3, XP SP2 or Vista
• 1 GB of disk space for installation
• Internet Explorer 6.0 required (provided on CD. Requires an additional 70 MB)
• Microsoft .NET Framework CLR 2.0 (provided on CD. Requires an additional 280 MB)
• At least high color (16 bit) SVGA video; Supports 800x600 resolution with small fonts
• Optimized for 1024x768
• 2x speed CD-ROM
• All online features/services require Internet access with at least a 56 Kbps modem

Multi-User

• Multi-user mode is optimized for Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003 client-server networks, and Windows 2000/XP peer-to-peer networks. A maximum of 5 licensed named users are allowed. A named user account is granted a license when selected in the user maintenance screen.

Terminal Services

• Windows 2000 or 2003 Server along with Remote Desktop Connection or Remote Desktop Web Connection client is required to run in a Windows Terminal Services environment¹. No more than 5 named users

Other

• Customer registration and acceptance of Sage Software License Agreement for Peachtree Accounting Software Products

¹ Terminal Server requires additional memory when more than one user is running under Windows Terminal Services. An additional 21 MB RAM is recommended for each additional user.
