    System Requirements

    • Customer registration and acceptance of the license agreement for Peachtree is required.

    • IBM Compatible 300 MHz Pentium II computer minimum, IBM Compatible 450 MHz Pentium II or higher recommended.

    • Windows XP SP1, Windows 2000 SP3, Windows ME, Windows 98 SE or Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6a. Product will not operate in a Windows Terminal Server Environment using Windows Terminal Services.

    • 64MB RAM Minimum, 128MB recommended

    • Display settings of at least High Color (16 bit). SVGA video. 800 x 600 screen resolution with small fonts.

    • CD-ROM Drive

    • Mouse or compatible pointing device

    • 110MB-250MB free hard disk space. An additional 55MB free hard disk space is required to install the Guided Tour.

    • Printers supported by Windows XP/2000/ME/98/NT 4.0

    • Internet Explorer 6.0 required. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 is included on the Peachtree CD. Requires 70MB (or higher) for installation.

    • Online Services require Internet access. Minimum connection speed depends on service.

    • In-product demos require Macromedia® Flash™ Player
    Additional Requirements for all Peachtree products, excluding Peachtree First Accounting:
    • To use Microsoft Excel* with Peachtree products, Excel 2000, 2002, or 2003 is required.

    • To use Microsoft Word* with Peachtree products, 2000, 2002, or 2003 and Excel 2000, 2002, or 2003 are required.

      *Please refer to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for hardware and memory system requirements.
    Additional Requirements for Peachtree Complete Accounting, Peachtree Premium Accounting, Peachtree Premium Accounting — Accountants' Edition only:
    • Multi-user optimized for Windows XP/2000/98/NT 4.0 (peer-to-peer network), Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003, Windows Small Business Server 2003, Windows NT 4.0 server or Novell NetWare Network 5.1, 6.0 or 6.5. Recommended for 5 users or less.

    To install Crystal Reports for Peachtree:
    • Peachtree Accounting must be installed

    • Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows Server 2003, Windows Me, Windows 98 (Second Edition) or Windows NT Workstation 4.0 with Service Pack 6a, Windows NT Server 4.0 with Service Pack 6a.       • 60MB free hard disk space; 235MB for full installation
